WILTON PARK BRITISH-GERMAN FORUM 2008

The British-German Forum is an annual event bringing together 50 ‘high-flyers’ from the UK and Germany. Those participating are chosen from a variety of backgrounds and are regarded as future opinion formers and leaders. Participants are usually aged between 25 and 35. The theme for this year's Forum is "FACING THE NEW GLOBAL REALITIES: HOW SHOULD EUROPE RESPOND?" The programme is drawn up by Wilton Park in consultation with the Advisory Board, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and British Embassy in Berlin. ATLANTIC YOUTH FORUM 2008
WP926 - Monday 4 - Friday 8 August 2008

This will be the sixth Atlantic Youth Forum following its establishment in 2003. The aim is to provide an opportunity for young Americans, Canadians and Europeans in the 18 to 24 age group to gain insights into each other’s concerns and perceptions on key challenges facing their countries and the international community, and make lasting contacts. The programme covers a range of political, security, cultural, economic and social issues.
