Wilton Park Conferences take place at Wiston House, which is set in the midst of its own parkland at the foot of the South Downs on the South Coast of England.

Conveniently situated near the junction of the A283 and A24, 10 miles (16km) north-west of Brighton. It is approximately an hour and a half by car from the centre of London and Heathrow Airport, forty five minutes from Gatwick Airport, and an hour and a half from the Channel Tunnel, or the Eurostar Terminal at Ashford.

LONDON TO WISTON HOUSE BY CAR:
If leaving from Central London, go through the West End, take Hammersmith Bridge, and then the A3 Kingston By-pass, turn left at Hook Corner onto the A243 signposted 'Dorking'. The A243 leads onto the A24. Keep on the A24 (heading towards Worthing) for approximately 25 miles (40km) to Washington. At the Washington roundabout, turn left, signposted 'A283 Steyning'. Follow the A283 for 2 and a half miles (4km) and after warning signposts reading WISTON HOUSE - WILTON PARK, turn right into the drive which after a mile will bring you directly to Wiston House.

From outer London it may be quicker to take the M25 to Junction 9, turn off onto the A243 at Leatherhead, then keep on the A24 as above.

FROM THE EUROTUNNEL:
Out of Eurotunnel terminal follow the signs to the M20 London direction.
Join M20 continue along it until junction 3 - take the M26, which then joins the M25 westbound (Heathrow Direction).
At M25 Junction 7, turn off and join the M23 and continue South. The M23 becomes the A23.
Turn off from the A23 to take B2114 to Handcross.
At the B2144 Junction with B2115 take direction for Lower Beeding.
At B2115 Junction with A281 take direction to Cowfold.
At A281 Junction with B2116 take B2116 to Partridge Green.
From Partridge Green take the B2135 through Ashurst to the A283.
At B2135 Junction with A283, turn right, the Washington direction and continue along A283 until you see the green signs for 'Wiston House, the Home of Wilton Park'. Turn left into the drive.
It is approximately 90 miles, 115 minutes by car.

BUS:
A special bus will be available at Gatwick Airport to bring Wilton Park participants to Wiston House on the opening day of the conference. The plan of the 2nd floor Main Arrivals Concourse in the SOUTH TERMINAL shows the precise meeting point. Participants are requested to assemble at the meeting point. The Gatwick Express train service from London Victoria Station runs every 15 minutes and the journey takes 30 minutes. Participants arriving at London Heathrow Airport are advised to take the National Express Airport bus to Gatwick. The service is every 30 minutes and the journey takes approximately 90 minutes. RAIL:
Our nearest railway station is SHOREHAM-BY-SEA, WEST SUSSEX (not Shoreham in Kent). Direct trains to Shoreham-by-Sea leave from London Victoria Station. The service is half hourly and the journey takes approximately 70 minutes.
