Wilton Park Advisory Council
The Wilton Park Advisory Council, WPAC as it is generally known, oversees the conference programme of Wilton Park, an Executive Agency of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, with the aim of ensuring that Wilton Park maintains its academic independence.
Appointments to the Council are
unpaid and are for a period of three years. Reappointments are for three
year periods and the maximum number of terms is three.
The Council oversees the conference programme of Wilton Park. It meets twice a year. Membership is drawn from the academic world, government, non-governmental organisations, media, business, trades unions and other organisations concerned with international relations.
Appointments to the Council are unpaid and are for a period of three years. The appointment procedure is covered by British Government standards on openness and transparency; full details are also posted here.
Minutes of WPAC Meetings are now available. The minutes will now be published here on a regular basis after their approval at the following six monthly WPAC meeting.
