Combating human trafficking: business and human rights

Thursday 10 October 2013 (WP1270)

In collaboration with the FCO, we will bring together a broad spectrum of actors to consider the most effective ways of tackling human trafficking in the business supply chain, both internationally and in the UK.

Participants will share good practice and discuss how to apply existing strategies and guiding principles in order to combat human trafficking. What practical steps can be taken to develop networks towards future cooperation and how can victims be best supported?

This meeting is invitation only and will include UK ministers, senior officials, diplomatic representatives from key countries, business leaders, international organisations, human rights groups and non-governmental organisations.
