Climate change: implications for international resilience and for security Meeting of climate security officials from interested G8 countries (WP1262)

In January 2013, the UK assumed the one-year Presidency of the G8. G8 Foreign Ministers have recognised climate change as a contributing factor in increased economic and security risks globally.

Officials from interested G8 countries attended a meeting here at Wilton Park to discuss climate impacts in fragile states and vulnerable countries, and practical actions which countries can take to show leadership in responding to the impacts of climate change.
