Event:

A mine-free world: challenges and opportunities in realising the 2025 aspiration (WP1616)

The specific focus of our dialogue will be how to get better engagement and coordination between donor states and operating agencies, both humanitarian and commercial.

We will look at the extent to which a clear, shared understanding of ‘landmine-free’ can be said to exist, challenges of both legacy and new contamination, the evolving funding context, and discuss options for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of donor support to mine and ERW clearance.
