ENGAGING WITH MUSLIM YOUTH IN EUROPE AND NORTH AMERICA

The conference will provide an opportunity to share European and North American experience of successful engagement with young Muslim; assist policy-makers to identify strategies at national, local and community level which could enhance the integration of younger Muslims into communities: provide an opportunity for Muslim women to contribute to the way policies are shaped and enhance their role within Muslim communities. What lessons can be learnt from differing approaches to the integration of Muslim communities and other minority communities? What are the comparative concerns of young Muslims living in different countries? How can the delivery of mainstream services to younger Muslims be improved at both a local and a national level? What role can Muslim women play? How can government and communities better support them?
