Turkey’s foreign policy has been undergoing a significant transformation in recent years. Its relations with countries in the Middle East, the Caucasus and Central Asia have vastly improved. While negotiations on European Union accession are not progressing, Turkey has become an increasingly active player on the international stage including in conflict resolution. Lord Howell spoke about Turkey’s role as a key regional and global power.
