Enhancing international cooperation on cyber regulation - video playlist

In this video playlist, participants discuss how cybersecurity regulatory fragmentation is a growing threat to businesses, economies, and critical national infrastructure. Participants explore the significant financial and operational burden placed on organisations navigating complex, overlapping compliance regimes. The accelerating pace of emerging technologies, such as AI, is examined, with participants highlighting how adversaries can exploit these same technological advances to scale cyber attacks. All participants emphasise that compliance must not come at the expense of security, and that international regulatory alignment is essential. Speakers stress that industry and governments must move beyond a patchwork of different regulatory regimes, and work together through trusted, evidence-based dialogue to develop practical solutions that benefit businesses, governments, and society as a whole.

Milena Rizzi (Director, ACN), Irfan Hemani (Deputy Director, UK Cyber Security and Resilience Policy, DSIT), Carla Baker (Senior Director, Palo Alto Networks), and Nicole Primmer (Deputy Executive Director, Business at OECD) discuss the key points.
