Wiston House is a sixteenth century Grade I Listed building, surrounded by over 6,000 acres of parkland. As a guest attending a conference at Wilton Park, you will find everything about travel, accommodation and facilities below.

Arrival and departure

If you are arriving by car to Wilton Park, the satellite navigation system postcode is BN44 3DZ. You should not turn off the A283 until the sign for Wilton Park Conference Centre and Wiston House.   

If you are travelling by train to Wilton Park, you will need to travel to Shoreham-by-Sea train station and then a taxi. You should allow about 20 minutes for the taxi journey to Wilton Park

If you are arriving by helicopter the Ordnance Survey reference is TQ155125 and the landing coordinates are North 50°53’59” West 00°21’29”

The House is set in parkland so please take care on your approach as there are grazing animals in the adjacent fields and they are prone to suddenly crossing the driveway. At at the end of the driveway, you will approach a security gate, please press the intercom to speak to Security and provide your name. Security will open the gate, please drive through, past the house to the main car park.  Please refrain from tailgating a car that may be in front of you as guests are required to make themselves known to security. 

If required we can assist with booking a taxi to your chosen destination, please make arrangements via Reception during your stay. If travelling to Shoreham-By Sea train station, please allow about 20 minutes for the journey plus 5 minutes to buy a ticket. 


Guests are accommodated either in the main house in bedrooms with private bathrooms, in one of our converted cottages on site or at neighbouring hotels. Direct dial telephones, internet access, TVs, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, tea and coffee making facilities are available in bedrooms. 

Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to provide accommodation for any guests who arrive early, but on request, we can provide details of nearby hotels. 

UK plug sockets use a 3-pin plug, please bring a travel adapter with you, otherwise they are available to purchase from Reception. 

Electric car charge points

There are two electric car chargers available for guests to use. A token can be obtained from Reception which will give two hours charge. 

Facilities and Leisure

Public computers are available with free internet access.  

Wiston House is set in beautiful landscaped gardens and we encourage these to be explored during the conference. The ground can be wet and muddy, so please bring some sturdy walking shoes with you when you visit. You can also go into the nearby National Park for a stroll or run so you may wish to bring your running shoes as well. Guided maps for walks from the house are available from Reception. 

There are tennis courts available for your use in the grounds. Rackets and balls are provided at Reception but please come prepared with suitable clothing and footwear if you wish to make use of this facility. 


Meal times are arranged around the requirements of the conference. Your conference organiser will give you full details, however, standard times for main meals are: 

Breakfast 08:00 

Lunch 13:00 

Dinner 19:30 


Payment for bills (telephone calls, bar etc) can be made in £Sterling, Mastercard or Visa Credit Card


Wilton Park is staffed 24 hours a day. During the day a member of the Events team will always be available to assist you and a security guard will be available overnight  



Smoking (including the use of E-cigarettes) is not permitted in the House or bedrooms – there is a designated smoking area by the main entrance. 


Wireless facilities are available throughout the house and in all bedrooms.
