Formally launched by Mary Robinson at COP29, members of the Women, Faith and Climate Network met at Wilton Park in March 2026 for their first meeting to develop new partnerships and to scale up radical action on climate change. The Network aims to promote transformative change to tackle the global climate and nature crisis, harnessing the power that comes from 80 percent of the world’s population identifying with a faith.
In this video playlist, participants discuss the vital role of faith-based organisations in addressing the climate crisis, exploring how women of faith can collaborate, share expertise and forge tangible partnerships that create real differences in communities around the world. Participants draw on Article 29 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which emphasises personal duties to the community as essential to both individual fulfilment and collective progress. The power of radical collaboration is explored, with participants highlighting how collective action is essential to moving forward. Participants reflect on how hope, hopelessness and courage can coexist, and how hopelessness itself can serve as fuel for courageous action in the fight against climate change.
