This dialogue helped to draw on the success of existing cooperation, particularly in the UK higher education and research sector. Both UK and Latin American participants recognised the potential to develop these partnerships further, including establishing a great footprint in the region for such exchanges. Beyond this, there were clear opportunities to make better use of UK business, including in the risk analytical, ESG, and advanced manufacturing sectors, to broaden this partnership. It would require deeper engagement from the UK government with governmental, commercial and scientific partners in the region to further increase dialogue, build cooperation and accelerate these critical partnerships.
