Rapid digitisation and rising cyber threats are exposing critical cybersecurity vulnerabilities across our economies. Fragmented cyber regulations increase costs and complexity for global businesses, particularly SMEs, impeding market expansion and innovation. Regulations need to be consistent across jurisdictions so as not to create unnecessary regulatory burdens, allowing businesses to focus on security rather than compliance.
This dialogue aims to agree a more interoperable regulatory landscape for cyber security across the international community. We aim to bring together governments and other stakeholders from around the world to exchange views and agree the next steps for future cooperation.
