We are pleased to be supporting the 2025 Aurora Forum which connects countries in dialogue: specifically the UK with Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland, Norway and Sweden – the ‘Nordic Baltic 8’ (NB8).
The Forum brings together high-level diverse individuals from a cross section of sectors including business, politics, academia, opinion formers, policy advisors, think tanks and culture.
This year’s event will focus on:
· Northern Europe in the light of developments in Ukraine and US
· Trade, competition and technology in a more divided and protectionist world
· The challenge and opportunity of the energy transition.
We expect Ministers/State Secretaries from Foreign Ministries of participating nations to attend, taking part in a high level roundtable in the margins of the event.
The themes and areas for potential collaboration identified at the event will be summarised by the Co-Chairs in a written document which will be distributed formally to governments, as the basis for fostering future work, including with the private sector.
