This invitation-only Forum will bring together approximately 60 senior representatives from governments, investors, industry, research institutions and international partners. It will explore how the complementary capabilities of the UK and like-minded governments, together with African and Gulf partners, can be combined to advance practical, investable critical-minerals partnerships.
Discussions will focus on the conditions required to move critical-minerals opportunities towards investment and delivery, including infrastructure and corridors, processing and beneficiation, project finance, scientific and technical capability, skills, responsible sourcing and access to downstream industrial markets. The objective is to identify concrete opportunities for collaboration and the practical actions, partnerships and institutional ownership required to move them forward.
