Following on from the High-Level Panel on Social Protection in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Settings (FCAS), this event will move from vision to implementation of the Panel’s recommendations at global and country levels. It will primarily focus on advancing financing solutions and driving humanitarian–development linkages and transitions, with a spotlight on Somalia and Syria.
The event will bring together national leaders, International Financial Institutions, bilateral development partners, humanitarian, climate and peace actors, and other key stakeholders. Participants will set out practical strategies and forge partnerships for strengthened social protection systems in fragile settings, in support of stability, resilience and sustainable development.
