The 16th meeting in the Wilton Park annual series. The meeting aims to: highlight the strategies being deployed to undermine human rights and human rights mechanisms and discuss their impact.

In the context of increasing attacks on human rights and attempts to weaken human rights language, the 16th meeting in the Wilton Park annual series is an opportunity to take stock of these concerning trends and to consider appropriate responses. Drawing on the experience and expertise of participants, the meeting aims to: highlight the strategies being deployed to undermine human rights and human rights mechanisms and discuss their impact; and identify ways in which states and non state actors can respond to these threats.
