Next Steps

Participants suggested the next steps could be to:

  • Establish a UK set of principles to guide development and application of AI in relation to children and young people.
  • Establish a nationwide representative youth forum (young people’s board) for engagement around AI and key issues affecting children and young people.
  • Create a youth AI safety institute.
  • Continue the conversation among stakeholders.
