One of the critical areas for implementation is improving access to antibiotics and diagnostics through common platforms. Improving access requires a focus on underserved populations including women, children and neonates. Further change is required across the supply chain and market shaping for both antibiotics and diagnostics to foster access. Different countries will have different actions to take aligned with country needs, capabilities and particular market environment. In the context of lower income settings, the need to progress holistic access pilots was identified, potentially in time for discussion at the next Global High-level Ministerial Conference in Nigeria in 2026.

Action: Lessons can be collated from initiatives such as the emerging Saudi Regional Access and Logistics Hub announced during the 2025 Global High Level Ministerial Conference and other access platforms and pilots to better understand if outcomes from those can be scaled and applied elsewhere.
